The island of Roatan is breathtaking, starting from the blue-green caribbean water, to the warm friendly faces of the locals. On my first night of walking around, I followed the live music where there was a party as there is every Sun. at 'The Barefoot Bar'. I danced for over an hour and met some colorful locals. I had a BBQ dinner for $5 and it was yummy!
I stayed in the Dolphin Hotel which was across the street from a coral reef where I snorkled for hours. The fish were amazing and as curious about me as I was them. All in all, it was a great trip and my prayers go out to all those who lost lives and loved ones in the recent storms in Central America. peace and blessings to all!
